Membership in the association is only $5/year. Becoming a member supports the organization by increasing our numbers and expanding our reach in the community. Voting members (residents and non-resident property owners of View Royal) get to vote at our Annual General Meeting, and a Supporting membership is for anyone who becomes a member of the association who does not live in View Royal. A Supporting Member is able to join a committee of the board and help the organization support our community through volunteering. Both memberships receive the occasional emails about pertinent public events happening at the hall.
Memberships include a spouse/significant other who lives at your same address, so please let us know if you would like to include them.
How to Become a Member
There are three ways to become a member
Send an email
Send us an email stating you would like to become a member and list your full name, address, phone number and email. Then send a $5.00 e-transfer to this email (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the security question: What town is the hall located in? With the answer being: viewroyal
(All one word, all lowercase). Please write a memo in the e-transfer that it is for joining in membership for 2020.
Send a letter
Send us a letter with your full name, address, phone number, and email with a cheque written out to View Royal Community Association for $5.00 with a memo stated as Membership Renewal. Cheques can be mailed or dropped off to/at: VIEW ROYAL COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION, ATTN: TREASURER, RE: Membership, 279 Island Highway, View Royal, B.C., V9B 1G4. (mail box is on the side of the building in the lower parking lot).
Attend an event
